If you lost your connection to your Apex Fusion it's very possible we can regain it by simply rebooting the Apex and any related network components like (WiFi adapters, power-line adapters, network switches or your router).
(Note: If you reboot any network device lets make sure that the network components are fully up and running before rebooting the Apex)
Ensure a couple of small things first like the Status Light of the Apex Base unit. Is is a solid Orange? If your Apex is hardwired make sure that the Ethernet cable is plugged into your Apex and the other end is plugged into your connection for internet.
Check 2) Reboot the APEX by tapping the reset button:
Wait (5) minutes and re check www.apexfusion.com for your connection
Check 2) Apex Base unit Status Light
The Apex should also have a 'Green' Status light on the top.
Check 3) Make sure you have DHCP setup correctly
If those are fine follow these steps below.
- Check to make sure DHCP is enabled on your controller and restart the controller
- On your Apex Display screen: SYSTEM> NETSETUP> DHCP (Turn this ON)
- Then scroll up on the NETSETUP MENU and go to RESTART.
- This will cause your display to go blank. Wait for it to finish and return.
